Food & Drinks

Head east from the track and pit-stop in Bastrop to fuel up on delicious grub. Around here, comfort food is always on the menu and we’ve got plenty of room at the table. Grab breakfast before the races at Maxine’s on Main. We suggest the Texas Benny, or a griddle cake as big as your face. Slide into a booth at Paw Paw's Catfish House for freshly fried catfish and onion rings. Enjoy pizza on the porch, overlooking the Colorado at Neighbor’s Kitchen and Yard, or swing into Gracie’s for a chicken fried steak with all the fixings. Sit down at Southside Market & BBQ or Billy’s BBQ for a plate of the best brisket and sausage you've ever had. Wash it all down with a trip to Bastrop Beer Company, 602 Brewing Company or Iron Bridge Icehouse for a pint of craft beer. If moonshine is more your style, grab a cocktail or infusion at Copper Shot Distillery.
