Take Mom through the wildflowers of Texas Hill Country. This trail run has a wide range of races. You’ll see the fire-struck forest of 2011 and the rebirth of the Lost Pines amidst small rocky sections and gentle climbs.

Dinner with a view of the Colorado River and live music might be the perfect Mother’s Day gift. She’ll love it. On Friday, May 12, you’ll hear singer/songwriter Michael Anthony with a unique mix of country, blues, rock and soul music that he calls, “Texas Edge.” Saturday, May 13, brings Everett Wren to the stage, a fiddler and multi-instrumentalist that winds through a wide variety of soulful and dance-worthy tunes. Cars, motorcycles, and dads go hand in hand at this collector’s auto show, held at the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center. It's sponsored by the Blue Flame Cruisers Car and Motorcycle Club, who make many charitable contributions throughout Bastrop County.
Bastrop Juneteenth Freedom Celebration – SAT., JUNE 17, 2023
Freedom and fathers combine in this day-long festival commemorating the day all slaves were officially freed in Texas on June 19, 1865. Head to Fisherman’s Park for a parade and an afternoon and evening of live music, food, and small business vendors.

Bastrop’s Pop-Up Market is making a Father’s Day showing with a host of amazing vendors including Gumbeaux Man mobile Cajun and BBQ, homemade baked goods, leather items, exotic plants, and so much more.
