Bastrop, as well as being one of the most charming places to visit in the great state of Texas, prides itself on its deep connection to the various cultures and traditions of the diverse population of people who call it home. As such, you’ll find a thriving Hispanic community here in Bastrop. This April, we invite you to join us for the Festival de la Cultura, a two-day music festival celebrating Hispanic traditions from across all generations.

When Is the Event?

The good news is, you’ve got two entire days to enjoy all the Festival has to offer. The event runs Saturday, April 27th from 11 AM to 11 PM, as well as Sunday, April 28th from 11 AM to 7 PM. Get your tickets here, and get them fast — this event is promising to be a popular one.

Well, Why Should I Come?

Aside from experiencing a vibrant display of Bastrop’s cultural heritage? For one thing, the lineup of artists the Festival will be hosting is nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve got acts such as 5-time Grammy winner Little Joe Y La Familia — no big deal. You’ll also hear incredible performances from musical powerhouses such as the rock legends Del Castillo, Ricardo Castillon of La Diferenzia and many more. Of course, exciting events such as Festival de la Cultura aren’t the only thing Bastrop has to offer. Check out a few other things you can do while you’re here — and consider extending your stay so you can experience them all.
