Great food! Server was very nice and overworked, since it took awhile to get a clean booth.
After being seated, an older couple sat next to our booth, they must have an animal shelter in their home. They reaked of cat urine and dog feces, or visa versa. Made it very unpleasant to eat. And I was raised on a dairy farm.
To top it off, another elder couple came in and brought their dog. Not a service animal, just a dog in a stroller! This is an eating establishment for humans, not a zoo. When leaving and paying the tab, I asked if it was their policy to allow animals in the restaurant. The cashier said it was okay.
If I want to eat with animals I'll go to Austin or some other woke populated city, or a dairy, not Bastrop!

Always great food from a family run restaurant in the trees on 71 west of Bastrop. Fast and easy to go at the window. I love this place!
