This is the site of the Old First National Bank. It was built in 1889 of local brick and lumber. It withstood a fire in 1890 that began at the livery stable, now the site of Bastrop's post office. Robert and Bradley Duff inherited the building. Robert Duff is actress Hilary Duff's father.
