Details
J.C. Buchanan built a one-story building at what is now 1002-1004 Main in 1880. The building was divided in half, and over the ears both halves passed through the hands of many Bastrop families. For the first time in 24 years, both halves belong to the same owner. The 1004 half, vacant for over 30 years, was restored in 2007 and is now a restaurant.
