Celebrating Bastrop’s Cultural Arts Destination

Hosted by the Bastrop Cultural Arts Committee, F.A.M.E. Days reflects the vision of the City of Bastrop Cultural Arts Master Plan, adopted in January 2021. The plan recognizes and encourages the individuals, groups, and organizations that enrich Bastrop’s quality of life while strengthening its growing reputation as a vibrant arts destination.

As part of the City of Bastrop’s Discover Bastrop Department, the Cultural Arts Committee is dedicated to promoting the Bastrop Cultural Arts District and enhancing creative opportunities throughout the community. Through events like F.A.M.E. Days, Bastrop continues to position itself as a welcoming, dynamic cultural arts destination where creativity thrives and visitors are invited to be part of the story.

Nest Fest - Friday, May 8, 2026

Celebrate creativity in Downtown Bastrop at Nest Fest, a special bird-inspired edition of F.A.M.E. This free monthly arts event is inspired by nests, feathers, flight, and the beauty of nature, Nest Fest transforms Spring Street into a vibrant outdoor arts market filled with interactive art activities, bird-themed installations, cultural experiences, and live entertainment. Whether you're visiting Bastrop for the weekend or looking for a unique night out, F.A.M.E. offers an unforgettable way to experience the city’s creative spirit.

Event Details

Location: Spring Street in Downtown Bastrop (closed to traffic from Main Street to the Opera House), including the Blue Heron parking lot
Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Admission: Free and Open to the Public
