Yesterfest 2024: Celebrating Bastrop's Pioneer Spirit!

Friday night, May 24 kicks off the festivities with the Yesterfest Beard & Mustache Competition at 602 Brewing Company, 919 Main St. at 8:00pm. “Competition will be fierce for three categories each in beards and moustaches!” says Nancy Wood, Director of Events for the Bastrop County Historical Society Museum & Visitor Center. “Winners will be awarded gifts and cash prizes.”

Get ready for a journey back in time as Yesterfest 2024 returns to Historic Downtown Bastrop on Friday night, May 24th, and all-day Saturday, May 25th. This beloved event celebrates the pioneer spirit of Bastrop with historical re-enactors and demonstrations, acoustic bands, craft vendors, and engaging activities for children and families.
