Texas will be centerstage for a total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024!  In Bastrop, at approximately 12:20 pm, the moon will start to block the sun causing an (almost) total solar eclipse. The sun is expected to eclipse until 2:25 pm. We're located right outside the path of totality, making Bastrop a great place to view the eclipse without having to maneuver the crowds. The Phantom Shakers LIVE

In June of 2008, two restless misfits started to make some noise in Detroit, Michigan. The velvety croon of Elle Mae, and the twangy guitar of Mark Longsdorf created a spark that quickly shot them to the forefront of the Motor City’s music scene.

Heavily influenced by traditional rockabilly, Texas swing, and 60’s rock ’n’ roll, The Phantom Shakers have captivated audiences from Detroit to Los Angeles, Europe and back, cutting their teeth on some of the most esteemed venues, festivals and dives in Detroit and around the globe, warming up for artists like The Trashmen, Dex Romweber, and Whitey Morgan & The 78’s.

They introduced their debut raw-cut EP “The Ghetto Session” in 2011 at the Metro Times Blowout, and quickly became Detroit's best kept secret. They went on to introduce their 7”-vinyl single, at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender, in April 2012, followed by their debut European romp in Belgium and The Netherlands later the next year following year to promote their third album, "Right Behind You Baby", which caught the ear of Austin icon, Dale Watson, leading to his invitation
to perform with him at the legendary Luckenbach, Texas for his Ameripolitan showcase in November 2013.

Currently based in Austin, TX, they have been featured on FOX 7-Good Day Austin in addition to several national and international radio programs, blogs and publications. Their new record, "This Is The Phantom Shakers", was released in 2020 against all odds and has garnered many praises from fans and critic alike as their best work yet.  Stream it everywhere and catch them if you can.
