The Bastrop Homecoming and Rodeo originated in in 1947 as a way of welcoming back 90,000 soldiers who had been based at Camp Swift during WWII. Today we welcome locals and visitors alike to this unique, hometown event where you'll find live music, a rodeo, carnival rides, tournaments, food vendors, dances, class reunions, and a Grand Parade. This three night celebration is full of "feel good vibes" and memories for the making.

Seventh Sun LIVE at Neighbor's Kitchen & Yard

Seventh Sun cranks out a titanic dose of rockin' Rhythm & Blues with a dangerously funky attitude - a great combination of original blues-rock creations and upbeat R&B covers. Fronted by the soulful Jen Hasseler, Seventh Sun ignites a blues explosion every time they hit the stage.

Seventh Sun's roots date back to the late 90's, when the group formed and spent several years playing many venues around Austin. Over the years the band went through some personnel changes and disbanded... but all good things come around again and in 2018 the four original members reformed with  Jen at the helm.

Seventh Sun is blues, rock, funk, soul and old school R&B wrapped up together for a great recipe of foot stompin' Texas sized, hot-buttered, bar-b-qued blues! This is a true guitar based boogie blues dance band.

So jump on the boogie train. You'll enjoy the ride.
