Scavenger Hunts at the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center offer kids the chance to explore and learn about the history of Bastrop by partaking in scavenger hunts of historic exhibits. The indoor Museum Scavenger Hunt is a brand-new edition welcoming first-time and returning children to the Museum to discover hidden clues to identify historic artifacts. They are also encouraged to think up their own clues which will be included in future Scavenger Hunts. Small prizes are awarded to participants when they return their completed search sheets at Bastrop’s Visitor Center.

“These scavenger hunts are ideal as a fun learning activity for individuals, families and groups. Boy and Girl Scout troops, homeschool groups, and even camp groups can come in and earn badges and credits and have fun,” Gloria Perkins, the Visitor Center Manager, says.
