Music in the Museum: Danny Everitt, A Texas Troubadour


Music in the Museum presents the award-winning Danny Everitt live in concert on Saturday, May 18, noon to 2:00pm in the Special Exhibition room at the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center in historic downtown Bastrop. A true Texas troubadour, Danny performs original and cover folk, rock and country songs with his heart-felt vocals and acoustic guitar.

If you love Texas and you love music, you’ll love Danny Everitt because he is the perfect combination of the two; strong and bold.  Everitt’s music is at once as beautiful and lonely as a tumbleweed blowing across West Texas.  Danny’s been a troubadour for most of a few decades now and he captures a lifetime of heartache, love and life in his is songwriting. Those who know Danny love his music.  Those who don’t, will.

Danny has been recognized as the 2014 Singer/Songwriter of the Year by the Academy of Texas Music. His albums are available on Spotify and iTunes.

Whether he’s performing his own material, or you’re hearing it recorded by other artists, you can tell immediately that Danny does more than pen great songs. His are spirited, thoughtful and warm expressions of a true Texas troubadour.

The Music in the Museum series takes place on the third Saturday of every month, offering a unique platform for local artists to share their talents and connect with the community.
