Music in the Museum: Bucksnort Boogie Boys

Bucksnort Boogie Boys is a band of friends who found each other in the course of a picking circle, Being of the woods and surrounding central Texas towns like Smithville, Bastrop and Gonzales the boys go off on sharing a diverse musical heritage and vision. They've created a style akin to American radio. The bluegrass styles vary as do the set list at their live shows.

Bucksnort Boogie Boys were founded in 2013 in remote central Texas bar named the Schoolhouse in Cistern, Texas. Joe Kindred set up a picking circle and Terry Burgan showed up and asked to play; permission granted. Wendel Broussard did metal work for Joe. Joe then met Bill  Finch at a Mason Lodge... and now you konw! The Bucksnort Boogie Boys have been together ever since.
