After cutting his teeth in the smokey blues jams of Houston, guitarist Matthew Brodnax has quickly become an in-demand sideman and formidable frontman in Austin. A true "student of the blues", Brodnax's encyclopedic knowledge of vintage blues has allowed him to play a brand of blues that is genuine and true to the art without being derivative.
Playing with many musicians in Austin's vast talent pool, Brodnax assembled a lineup of Mike Van Summern on guitar/vocals Zaz Marshall on bass, and a medley of excellent drummers including Ernie Durawa(Texas Tornados) and Wes Starr(Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets.) Each member has extensive resumes gigging and recording across the United States and each brings their unique musical perspective to the group.
