Lost Pines Holiday Homes Tour

For more than 60 years, the Lost Pines Holiday Homes Tour has showcased Bastrop's historic past. This year's 61st tour is no exception. We hope you will enjoy our 2023 Holiday Homes Tour in Bastrop's beautiful downtown historic district.

Enjoy a self-paced historic tour of four homes and the famous Bastrop Opera House, all listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.  Built in 1889, the Bastrop Opera House still functions as a live theatre venue. The historical features of Bastrop architecture transports visitors to years ago with its remarkable details and features. Docents will be available to answer all of your questions and provide facts about each location. Homeowners will also be available to discuss any renovations or unique stories related to their homes. The annual Lost Pines Holiday Homes Tour is an event not to be missed, with all proceeds benefiting the Bastrop County Historical Society.
