Blending electronic and grassroots elements, the music of Jed Craddock is its own a kind of "intelligent pop." The blend of Jed's eclectic approach as an artist and idiosyncratic voice creates songs that feel retro, yet modern.
Jed teamed up with Plaid Dog Studios in Allston, Massachusetts in 2019 to crowdfund his first album, Prison in Paradise. His campaign was so successful that Jed was able to grow the project from a 5 track EP to a nine track album. Under the guidance of Plaid Dog's producer Bryan Fenelley, Jed recorded four songs in house, including the debut single, Space + Time.
The remaining five tracks were self-produced by Jed in San Antonio, Texas. Over one dozen musicians lent their skills to the project, including Daniel Yoong, Stan Renard, Cory Mann, and Jacob Kyle. Prison in Paradise was released on April 21, 2020.
