Paula Maya is an award winning Brazilian pianist-keyboardist, singer, songwriter, band leader, producer, teacher and recording artist. She is a Grammy © and Latin Grammy © Awards voting member and a GrammyU Mentor. She’s been nominated in the 2025 Austin Chronicle Music Awards
in two categories, Best World Artist and Best Latin Artist. Paula Maya won the 2024 Global
Music Awards Silver Medal in the category Best Instrumentalist.  Her compositions have roots in traditional rhythms and melodies such as maracatú, baião and samba.
