Main Event Bastrop TX Art organizes First Weekend, including First Friday ArtWalk, every month. Each month has a different theme, around which events, activities and art are planned. 

As a Certified Bird City, Bastrop celebrates all things avian in May's First Friday ArtWalk which also features live music, lots of local art, and family friendly activities. 

First Weekend for May will include bird watches, bird song I. D., an "Outrageous Bird Hat" contest, a photo contest and more. Numerous businesses and organizations will be getting in on the act - so you don't want to miss it!
