Enjoy an exciting tour of the Bastrop Museum with Ron Ramirez, former mayor of Elgin, Texas, and a BCHS Trustee and a commissioner with the Bastrop County Historical Commission. Ron is a knowledgeable and engaging local docent whose says he loves meeting people from all over and talking about Texas history. Please join Ron to learn all about Bastrop history in a beautifully-curated Museum that follows the historic time-line of our town from the age of the mastodons through World War II and up to the 2011 fires.
