Downtown restaurateurs have teamed up again to bring you the 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo Pub Crawl in historic downtown Bastrop. The Cinco de Mayo Pub Crawl is slated to take place on Saturday, May 5th, from 6 to 9 p.m. This year’s Cinco De Mayo Crawl will have a Mariachi Twist! For $30 dollars’ participants will get to sample 5 different Cinco de Mayo inspired libations from Crawl Stops of their choice, take photos at our Cinco De Mayo Photo Op featuring Mariachi Men, don mariachi festive wear including hats, floral hair pins, and of course mariachi noise makers. “We are also planning on having some surprise mariachi performers lined up for attendees to enjoy,” said Hospitality & Downtown Director Sarah O’Brien. The 2018 Cinco De Mayo Pub Crawl participants are: The 602 on Main, 919 Main Street, Old Town Restaurant & Bar, 931 Main Street, Neighbor’s Kitchen & Yard, 601 Chestnut Street, Gracie’s, 706 Pine Street, Viejo’s Events, 912 Main Street, Colorado River Winery, 707 Chestnut Street, and Copper Shot Distillery 601 Chestnut, Suite E.
If available the evening of the event tickets will be available for purchase in person at Copper Shot Distillery, 601 Chestnut which is where packet pick up occurs. Only 130 wristbands will be sold. Wristband pickup for all ticket holders will take place from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on the porch of Copper Shot Distillery. “We are changing our ticket prices for this crawl and future crawls to include a $5 hospitality tip for our downtown wait staff,” said Hospitality & Downtown Director. Wristband holders must be 21 years of age or older and will have to show ID. Food is always available for purchase at location until 9 p.m.
