Born in Kansas City, raised in Wolcott and son of a Tejano Music Hall Of Fame Vocalist, Buddy Boy singer/songwriter transplanted to Texas at age 11 and is making his mark on the music world with his timeless ability for writing and performing. Carrying a Texas swagger in his lyrics and memorable melodies, he has a style that is heavily influenced by artists like his biggest heroes Radney Foster, Foster and Lloyd as well as George Strait. Also being influenced by many Texas music artists such as Zane Williams, Wes Nickson, Randy Rogers Band and Wade Bowen to name a few.
A seasoned veteran of the music business for over 19 years, Buddy currently is a Latin Grammy nominated song writer and his love for music and performing has kept him chasing "the dream," writing songs and touring. Keeping in tune to his roots, he's written several hits for many Tejano and regional acts while continuing to hone his craft at writing, recording and performing.
