Andrew Jones (an Aledo, Texas-based Americana singer and songwriter) cut his first demo in Granbury, Texas on December 3, 2001. Andrew rounded up all of the songs he had written, copyrighted, and played only for a choice few, and decided to have a band of his own to perform at live music venues.
Brookhaven (his first 5-piece band) played regularly at venues in North Central Texas. To date, Andrew has written many songs and opened up for Ely Young Band (Grandview, TX) and Daryl Dodd (Granbury, TX), and the pavilion stage at Smirnoff Music Center in 2003 before the Toby Keith concert.
These songs are mostly comprised of real life experiences. Andrew served in the U.S. Army, has worked many hours in the Texas oilfields, along with other jobs and playing music in North Texas venues. These jobs have provided him with a ton of first-hand knowledge upon which to write some first class Americana songs.
